The SAIC-owned British automotive manufacturer will unveil Maxus D90 SUV, and Hector's 6-seater version, as well as a small SUV.

Morris Garages already has the MG Hector running on Indian roads and recently launched the MG ZS EV as well. The ZS EV is equipped with a 44.5 kWh IP6 certified battery pack that offers a maximum range of about 340 km on a single charge.

This is the first time the British carmaker will be participating at the Auto Expo to be held between February 7 and February 12.

MG Maxus D90

The third offering of MG in India, it is likely to be powered by the same 2.0-litre diesel engine in India that Hector sports, but with performance tweaks. The 7-seater is being sold in China with the Maxus badge.

Somewhat similar in size to the Ford Endeavor and Toyota Fortuner, MG Maxus D90 includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, panoramic sunroof, digital instrument display, and a 360 degree camera. It even features tyre pressure monitoring system and blind spot detection.

Vision-i Concept MPV

The concept MPV is slated to get a 5G smart cockpit without screens and has already debuted at the 2019 Shanghai Auto Expo.

According to reports, the Vision-i is most likely based on SAIC's Roewe Vision-i automobile.

A combination of SUV and MPV technologies, the car will probably have a futuristic design with illuminated wide grille, sleek tail lights and split headlamp setup.

MG Hector 6-seater

The MG Hector 6-sector sports aircraft-style seats for middle row and will also have third-row seats like the Mahindra XUV500. The car is expected to be upgraded to meet BS 6 norms.

The SUV is supposed to be equipped with a 10.4-inch infotainment system, i-SMART car technology, automatic climate control, and a panoramic sunroof.

Rajeev Chaba, president and managing director of MG Motor India, has revealed that the company is planning to accelerate the adoption of eco-friendly, next-generation mobility solutions in India.
