Auto Expo 2020: What to expect from MG Motor

MG Motor India has announced that the company will be showcasing a total of 14 models across various segments at the upcoming Auto Expo 2020. MG has said they will be highlighting the “future of mobility" through advancements in internet, electric and autonomous cars during the Auto Expo.
The company is slated to unveil a range of cars from SUVs to hatchbacks and even utility vehicle segments, which will underline both MG Motor' British heritage and future endeavours.

The SAIC-owned British automotive manufacturer will unveil Maxus D90 SUV, and Hector's 6-seater version, as well as a small SUV.
Morris Garages already has the MG Hector running on Indian roads and recently launched the MG ZS EV as well. The ZS EV is equipped with a 44.5 kWh IP6 certified battery pack that offers a maximum range of about 340 km on a single charge.
This is the first time the British carmaker will be participating at the Auto Expo to be held between February 7 and February 12.
MG Maxus D90
The third offering of MG in India, it is likely to be powered by the same 2.0-litre diesel engine in India that Hector sports, but with performance tweaks. The 7-seater is being sold in China with the Maxus badge.
Somewhat similar in size to the Ford Endeavor and Toyota Fortuner, MG Maxus D90 includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, panoramic sunroof, digital instrument display, and a 360 degree camera. It even features tyre pressure monitoring system and blind spot detection.
Vision-i Concept MPV
The concept MPV is slated to get a 5G smart cockpit without screens and has already debuted at the 2019 Shanghai Auto Expo.
According to reports, the Vision-i is most likely based on SAIC's Roewe Vision-i automobile.
A combination of SUV and MPV technologies, the car will probably have a futuristic design with illuminated wide grille, sleek tail lights and split headlamp setup.
MG Hector 6-seater
The MG Hector 6-sector sports aircraft-style seats for middle row and will also have third-row seats like the Mahindra XUV500. The car is expected to be upgraded to meet BS 6 norms.
The SUV is supposed to be equipped with a 10.4-inch infotainment system, i-SMART car technology, automatic climate control, and a panoramic sunroof.
Rajeev Chaba, president and managing director of MG Motor India, has revealed that the company is planning to accelerate the adoption of eco-friendly, next-generation mobility solutions in India.
