Skoda India has set hearts of motoring enthusiasts racing with the recent announcement that it will bring back the Octavia RS 245 in the market. Having already shipped 200 completely built units (CBU) to the country, Skoda is betting on the car once again creating a niche for itself here.

Transmission duties inside the Octavia RS 245 is handled by a seven-speed DSG dual clutch system while the interiors boast of a sporty set up courtesy electrically adjustable bolstered seats, ambient lighting and a 9.2 inch infotainment system.

The Octavia RS 245 stands on 18-inch alloys and may get a brand new black front grille and a reworked headlight system with DRLs.

While Skoda has not announced the price point at which the Octavia RS 245 will be offered, it is speculated that it could fall in the bracket between 30 lakh and 35 lakh.
