Kia launches Carnival at Auto Expo: Here's all you should know about the MPV

  • The Carnival will come in three variants - Premium, Prestige and Limousine
  • The MPV directly competes with segment leader Toyota Innova
1/7 Kia Motors on Wednesday launched the Carnival MPV to take on Toyota Innova, in a segment which is dominated by the latter.
2/7 The Carnival boasts of some impressive features, like a 2.2-litre diesel engine, 204 hp power and torque figures of 440 Nm.
3/7 On the outside, Carnival has projector headlights and DRLs, Kia's signature Tiger-nose front grille and a tall profile. (PTI)

4/7 Carnival is being offered with an eight-speed transmission option and is filled to the brim with convenience and luxury features.
5/7 The car starts at a price of 24.95 lakh for a seven-seater variant (ex-showroom), called the Premium segment. It remains to be seen whether this price goes in favour of the South Korean carmaker, considering its rival - the Innova - starts at a much lower price of around 15 lakh (ex-showroom).
6/7 The Carnival will be offered in two more segments - Prestige and Limousine - with starting prices of 29.95 lakh and 33.95 lakh respectively.
7/7 The Carnival is Kia's second offering in India after its popular Seltos SUV.
