In an interview with the German website Auto Motor Und Sport, Bugatti CEO Wolfgang Schreiber announced that the very last Veyron will premiere at the Geneva Motor Show, which takes place March 5 to 15.

Most likely a one-off, the model will conclude the long list of limited series launched since the supercar's commercial debut in 2005.

The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse has a W16 engine with around 1,200hp, which takes it from 0 to 100km/h in just 2.6 seconds. With a record top speed of 408.84 km/h for the convertible version with the top down, the model is still the world's fastest production roadster.

In 2013 and 2014, Bugatti released an entire collection of Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse limited series, each with just three cars priced at €2 million apiece. These special editions were dedicated to Ettore Bugatti (the founder of the brand), Jean Bugatti (car designer, Ettore's son), Rembrandt Bugatti (sculptor, Ettore's younger brother), Jean-Pierre Wimille (two-time Le Mans 24 Hours champion for Bugatti), Bartolomeo 'Meo' Costantini (sporting manager at Bugatti) and Roland Garros (aviator and Ettore's friend).
