Two new Red and Black editions for the Ford Fiesta

Ford has announced the launch of two new Red or Black editions of the Fiesta with a new 140 hp version of the 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine for September 2014.
Ford has unveiled the Red Edition, a new version of the Fiesta. It will only be available as a three-door model and will have a two-toned body, either mostly red or mostly black, depending on the model clients select. A special bodykit, made up of sports bumpers on the front and rear end, side skirts and a rear spoiler, makes it stand out as well. The dual color code also features inside the car.

Thanks to its boosted engine, the Ford Fiesta Edition achieves 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 9.0 seconds and a 125 mph (201 km/h) top speed, all of this for a 4.5 l/100 km (62.8 mpg) fuel efficiency and 104 g/km CO2 emissions. Ford has also taken care to outline that, in terms of engine displacement, the Fiesta Red Edition offers more power than a Bugatti Veyron or a Ferrari 458 Speciale.
Launched at the end of 2012, the latest generation of Ford Fiestas features voice-activated connectivity system SYNC, low-speed collision avoidance system Active City Stop as well as configurable key MyKey, which enables car owners to place certain restrictions, on speed or audio volume for instance. This system mostly aims at making young drivers aware of their responsibilities.
The Red and Black editions of the new Ford Fiesta will be available to order this summer and delivery will start in September.
