Aman Anand
Occupation: Advocate
Age: 27 years
Drives: Maruti Swift
Uses car for: Office commute

Aman says, "I like the driving position and there is good legroom up front as well but what's the idea behind this odd dashboard colour? It's offensive. The boot is decent. The car drives well but a little more power would have been welcome. The build quality is definitely tougher than my Swift. What I don't like is the short equipment list; for instance, there are no rear power windows. The Figo's pricing is very good. I need another small car in the house and this seems like a good buy."

Dhruv Kalra
Occupation: Event management
Age: 30 years
Drives: Honda Civic and City
Uses car for: City commute and occasional highway trips

Dhruv says, "I am looking to downgrade from my Honda City and buy a hatchback. This is a very wallet-friendly alternative. I like the Figo's sharp styling. There is good legroom in the front and the rear seats are comfortable as well. Power is just about adequate. Ride quality is very comfortable, the steering offers good feel and the gearbox is crisp. But I won't buy the Figo because of the shoddy interior design and materials used."

Harshita Singh
Occupation: College student
Age: 21 years
Drives: Nothing yet
Needs car for: Travelling to college, social outings

Harshita says, "I was looking at the i10 and A-star but this seems like a good alternative. It's stylish. I like the tall rear lamps in particular and this green colour looks good. The cabin is nice too and looks cool. I like the two-tone dashboard — it's unique. There is good cabin space and the car should manage to seat five quite easily. Overall, I am very impressed. I'll ask my brother to buy this for me."

Mohammed Irshad
Occupation: Fitness instructor
Age: 25 years
Drives: Maruti Zen
Uses car for: Work-related travel in city

Mohammed says, "There is a really good amount of space in the cabin and spread through the interiors, specially when compared to the Maruti Zen. I like the seats as they are very supportive, and the boot, too, has adequate space. The exteriors look nice too but what I couldn't understand was why there weren't alloy wheels even on the top-end model. The Figo's pricing is very competitive and I will certainly consider buying this car."

Samant Kakkar
Occupation: Public affairs consultant
Age: 27 years
Drives: Maruti Swift Dzire
Uses car for: Office commute and leisure trips

Samant says, "I like the car's front styling but the cabin is a bit drab and the quality isn't that great. I do not like the flat design of the glovebox or the weird colour used on the dashboard. It's unappealing to my eyes. I like the way the car drives, though. The steering is nice and the gearbox crisp. But the petrol is underpowered with four passengers on board. At this price, it's a good bet, but Ford hasn't offered much equipment."

Sonal Singh
Occupation: Corporate communications
Age: 25 years
Drives: Maruti A-star
Uses car for: Office commute

Sonal says, "I love the way the Figo looks, especially the cool cat-like headlamps. There is plenty of legroom spread out evenly across the front and rear. I also like the dual-colour dashboard. But what I couldn't come to terms with was the fact that Ford hasn't provided power windows at the rear even in the top-end model. Overall, though, it's a very good alternative to my A-star. I for sure would love to own this one."
