Record power-to-weight ratio for Ducati's 1199 Superleggera
With its 200hp Superquadro engine and 155kg magnesium chassis, the limited edition Ducati 1199 Superleggera has the highest power-to-weight ratio ever seen in a production motorcycle. Only 500 of these exceptional bikes will be produced and sold at the price of €65,000 (around $89,600).
To minimize the weight of its new superbike without sacrificing durability, Ducati used the lightest and strongest materials available, including titanium for the exhaust, magnesium for the chassis and carbon fiber for the fairings.

Without a doubt, the Ducati 1199 Superleggera will be the main attraction on Ducati's stand at the Milan Motorcycle Show (EICMA), which will take place this November 7 to 10. Website: eicma.it
