Nissan to present Pulsar sedan on May 20

The Japanese manufacturer will present its new 5-door sedan, the Pulsar, on Tuesday, May 20. Described as a compact family car, the new model is slated to hit European dealerships in fall 2014.
Following the success of the Qashqai and X-trail in the crossover and SUV markets, Nissan decided to adopt the same design language for its latest sedan.
Nissan says that the Pulsar, which will be produced at its plant in Barcelona, Spain, was developed specifically to meet the needs of consumers in Europe. In April of this year, at the Beijing Motor Show, Nissan presented its Lannia sedan concept, which will likely inform a future model designed specifically for Asian markets.
