Koenigsegg reveals teaser image of megacar ahead of Geneva
At the Geneva Motor Show this March, the Swedish car manufacturer known for its exceptional vehicles will unveil a new megacar, the Regera, as well as the Agera RS supercar.
Koenigsegg is teasing the Regera (Swedish for 'reign'), a vehicle described as a luxury hybrid megacar. Coined by the Swedish brand, the term megacar refers to a vehicle with over one megawatt of power (1,000 kilowatts), which is equivalent to around 1,341hp. The idea is that the model is even more extraordinary than a supercar or hypercar thanks to its hybrid powertrain.
