Jeep Cherokee scores 5 out of 5 in Euro NCAP crash tests

The Jeep Cherokee, Mercedes CLA, Suzuki SX4 and Peugeot 2008 are the latest vehicles to obtain the maximum 5-star crash test safety rating from the European New Car Assessment Program (Euro NCAP).

Among the cars tested in the latest round of Euro NCAP crash tests, the Suzuki SX4 and Mercedes CLA earned the highest score for safety assist technology (81%), while the Suzuki SX4 and Jeep Cherokee stood out for the highest adult passenger safety rating (92%). In terms of pedestrian safety, the Mercedes CLA emerged as the winner in this round of tests, with a score of 74%.

All of the vehicles tested in the Euro NCAP are evaluated based on four main criteria: adult occupant safety, child occupant safety, pedestrian safety, and safety assistance technologies.
