Honda Jazz to be made in Tapukara, Mobilio in Greater Noida
Honda's upcoming Mobilio MPV, that was displayed at this year's Auto Expo, will go into production in June this year.
Industry sources confirmed to our sister publication Autocar Professional that the new Honda MPV will be made at the carmaker's Greater Noida plant.
Honda had already announced earlier that the Mobilio, in both petrol and diesel trims, will be one of the new models to be launched this year. The other new model - the new Jazz (codename 2WS) - that is slated for a rollout this year as well goes into production in July. This hatchback will be made in the carmaker's new Tapukara plant in Rajasthan.

The earlier Jazz was discontinued by Honda in February 2013 owing to poor sales. The 1.2-litre petrolJazzwas produced in the company's Greater Noida plant which has a production capacity of 1,20,000 units per annum.
