At the LA Auto Show, Honda's premium brand Acura will reveal a new and improved version of the ILX, its compact sedan designed primarily for the North American market.

Introduced in 2012, the Acura ILX premium compact sedan is based on the architecture of the Honda Civic and powered by a hybrid fuel engine.

Judging by the single photo available so far, which shows the 2016 ILX cloaked in darkness, the refreshed model will feature a significantly improved design, particularly when it comes to the lighting clusters. Acura also promises a more powerful motor and a more energetic and sporty overall style.
