Tempting car discounts up for grabs

The deals and discounts keep pouring in as the market continues to reel from a slowdown. Demand has dropped drastically, and with sales slowing down for nearly all models, manufacturers are offering attractive discounts to customers. Here are some of the best deals we found.

There's a great deal going on the Hyundai Sonata. A flat cash discount of ₹ 2.5 lakh is available on the petrol models. The thing to bear in mind is that this discount is on the 2012 model cars.

Ford dealers are selling the diesel variants of the Figo at a discount this month. This includes free insurance which amounts to ₹ 22,444 for the top end variant and an additional exchange bonus of ₹ 25,000.

The Chevrolet Beat has some nice discounts on both the diesel and petrol versions like the ₹ 25,000 cash discount. For those who already own a Chevrolet and want to buy the Beat, there is an additional ₹ 10,000 loyalty bonus to be had but this is only available on the diesel variants.

This month, the Hyundai i10 comes with a cash discount of ₹ 9,000 along with an exchange bonus of ₹ 20,000 to make the deal even sweeter.

The Chevrolet Sail is being offered with a loyalty bonus of ₹ 10,000 and is available on both diesel and petrol models.

For the Mahindra Scorpio, you don't have to pay the full insurance amount; only ₹ 4,000. This saves you about ₹ 40,600. An additional exchange bonus is also available and amounts to ₹ 10,000.

The popular Toyota Innova is being offered with free accessories worth ₹ 22,000 and an exchange bonus of ₹ 12,000. It's a good deal if you are considering buying one.

The Volkswagen Passat is now available with a flat cash discount of ₹ 2 lakh on the 2012 model year cars that dealers still have in stock.

The petrol automatic variant of the Hyundai Elantra has a ₹ 50,000 cash discount on the cars that are in stock.

This month, Mahindra is offering an exchange bonus of ₹ 10,000 on the Verito. You also don't have to pay anything for insurance either which saves you anything between ₹ 21,141 for the base petrol up to ₹ 33,994 for the top-end diesel.

Hyundai's Verna, in the diesel avatar is available with an exchange bonus of ₹ 15,000 and also a loyalty bonus of ₹ 10,000 for those who already own a Hyundai.

The BMW 5-series is on sale with a cash discount of ₹ 3 lakh. And the offer is available on all variants of this competent luxury saloon.
