Mitsubishi to unveil Outlander PHEV Concept-S in Paris

In a world premiere at the Paris Motor Show, the Japanese manufacturer will present the new Outlander PHEV Concept-S, a prototype based on its current plug-in hybrid SUV.
The new concept has a unique design intended to be both more sporty and more sophisticated than the standard Outlander PHEV.
While the plug-in hybrid powertrain is the same, consisting of a fuel engine and two synchronous electric motors powered by a lithium-ion battery, this variation on the standard SUV offers a more roomy and luxurious interior. The cabin has been decked out in black wood paneling with silver accents and hand-stitched soft leather upholstery. A new center console inspired by traditional Japanese lacquered boxes has also been introduced.
