Mahindra launches new ownership scheme for e2o

Mahindra, in a bid to boost sales of its e2o electric car, has introduced a scheme called 'Goodbye Fuel, Hello Electric'.

The scheme will allow buyers to purchase an e2o initially without paying for the battery cost. The buyers will be able to pay off the battery cost with a monthly running cost payment of ₹ 2,599 for a period of five years. This will allow users to drive 50,000km in that period and if they want to change that range, the company has provisions.
