Facelifted Peugeot 208 launched

French car company Peugeot has given its best-selling supermini its first significant refresh since its launch in 2012 and the changes are more than skin deep.
The car's once polarizing nose has received some rhinoplasty in the form of a reworked grille and front bumper. Front and rear lights have also been updated to bring the car in line with other Peugeot models.

Quality is also addressed with the update -- seven separate levels of trim are now available as well as, for the first time, two personalization packs for making the exterior and interior stand out.
Under the hood the car now has Euro 6 compliant diesel and petrol engines, the pick of which in its native France at least will be the 1.6-liter BlueHDi diesel that offers 94.2mpg and CO2 emissions of 79g/kg.
As well as updated engines, there is updated tech. The 208 can now be specified with Park Assist, a reversing camera and Active City Brake. The refreshed Peugeot 208 is available to order now.
