Datsun will manufacture the on-Do at the Avtovaz plant in Russia. The sedan shares its platform with the Lada Granta sold in Russia.

Russia is second market for Datsun after India, where the Japanese low-cost car brand launched the Go recently. Datsun will sell the on-Do in Russia from June this year through 25 branded dealerships. Nissan's low-cost brand expects to have 75 dealerships in Russia in the next two years.
