As a mother, the 5-star GNCAP rating was the deciding factor. It feels incredibly secure. The all-disc brakes are reassuring. The features are adequate for daily use, but the quality of the reverse camera could be better.

High Prices, Missing Features

The pricing of this car is way too high for what you get. The top diesel variant of the Carens used to be around 22-23 lakhs with an automatic option, but it's changed now, and the prices have gone up. I really don't care for all those ADAS features; I just want a nice panoramic sunroof. If you're looking at the lower variant, like the HTK Plus N and taking a budget of around 20 lakhs, it should at least come with LED projectors and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Kia still has a long way to go in this regard.
