I want to buy a Hyundai i10 automatic for my wife. Since she is only five feet tall, will she have a problem with visibility even after adjusting the driver's seat?
Nishikant Ramteke
The Hyundai i10 automatic has manual seat height adjustment. Short drivers do not have a problem with visibility. Also, the i10's dashboard is relatively low and this also helps vision.
What is your opinion about the Hyundai Verna diesel? Is there a new model coming this year? And how is the Fiat Linea diesel? Does it have discounts going right now?
Kishor Anjaria
The diesel Verna has terrific performance and is quite practical too. However, it's not as good as the Vento which is our current favourite in the mid-size diesel class. The new Verna will be released later in 2011 — that will be a completely new body style and the engine is likely to be new as well. There are a fair amount of discounts available on the Fiat Linea currently and you should bargain hard for the best deal. For long journeys, we feel the Linea diesel is better than the Ford Fiesta as it has more power, a far better ride and feels more solid and secure at speeds.
I want to buy a 150cc bike. My priorities are mileage, ride quality, seat comfort, durability and resale value. Help me decide between the Hero Honda Hunk, Suzuki GS150R and TVS Apache RTR 160 Fi.
Gurdarshan Singh
The Hero Honda Hunk fits your needs best. It provides excellent fuel economy, durability and has decent resale value.
I want to buy a new bike within a ₹65,000. I ride 60-70km each day. I am six feet tall, while my wife, who often sits pillion with me, is five feet and 10 inches tall, making seat comfort important for us. Which bike do you suggest for me?
Abhijit
We suggest the Hero Honda Hunk. It comes with a smartly contoured seat and relaxed ergonomics that will comfortably accommodate you and your wife.
