Looking to tap into the growing pick up market in India, Japanese car maker Isuzu Motors on Thursday opened its first outlet in the national capital region, while launching its D-Max range of pick-up trucks that comprise three models priced at ₹ 5.89-6.99 lakh (exshowroom NCR).
The company expects the onetonne pickup segment in India to grow to 800,000 units becoming the world's largest pickup market by 2023.
The company aims to open 60 outlets across India by end of 2015-16.
