Tata Motors releases sneak peek of Altroz hatchback ahead of launch

Tata Motors is planning to take the hatchback segment by storm with Altroz and even as the company gears up for the launch, has released a brief teaser of the car.

While the teaser hardly reveals much about the Altroz, the car's silhouette gives some semblance about the stand, dimensions and overall proportions.

First showcased as a concept car at the 2018 edition of Auto Expo, the Altroz is being tested for adaptability on Indian roads and in conditions here.

Tata is expected to load the car with features galore and give it sharp and edgy looks - factors that could be critical as it goes head-on against the Elite i20 from Hyundai and the Baleno from Maruti Suzuki.

The hatchback segment in the country has not been rousing success story in recent months but with the additions of new models like the Altroz, could stage a revival.
