The British manufacturer has officially unveiled its new all-terrain vehicle, the Ariel Nomad. The two-seater buggy has an ultra-sporty appearance and packs a Honda motor with 235hp.

Weighing in at around 670kg, the Ariel Nomad has a 2.4-liter four-cylinder Honda engine with 235hp. The buggy can go from 0 to 100km/h in 3.4 seconds and can reach speeds of up to 200km/h.

An off-road version of the Atom, the Nomad has a similarly sporty appearance thanks to its bare space frame chassis. Ariel has added several elements that set the buggy apart, including a strong brush guard and a sturdy roll cage.

To be sold at a starting price of £27,500 (about US$41,800) plus tax, the Nomad will be produced in limited quantities (no more than 100 per year), with the first models expected to ship ahead of this summer.

Ariel, which specializes in sports vehicles, is known primarily for its Atom, a road-ready, ultra-lightweight performance car with no bodywork, windshield or roof. Earlier in 2014, the brand presented the Ariel Ace, a motorcycle based on the Honda VFR 1200. The model stands out for its aggressive design and 170hp motor.
