The Kawasaki Eliminator is the brand’s most affordable cruiser in India, positioned below the Vulcan S. It caters to buyers looking for a mid-capacity parallel-twin cruiser with retro-inspired styling. Launched in 2024, this model reintroduces the iconic nameplate in a modern package, combining laid-back ergonomics, a long wheelbase, and a low seat height to suit relaxed highway cruising. It draws its mechanical foundations from the Ninja 500, repurposed for a more relaxed riding experience suited to the cruiser format.

It is offered in a single variant and comes finished in a single-tone Metallic Flat Spark Black colour scheme. The motorcycle follows a classic cruiser silhouette, with a raked-out front end, round LED headlamp, and split seat layout. Its design is more retro than the Vulcan S, with details such as silver-finished mechanical components and 18-inch front and 16-inch rear alloy wheels that enhance its visual identity.

The bike is powered by a 451 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that delivers 45 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 42.6 Nm at 6,000 rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox and features a slip-and-assist clutch for smoother shifts. The powertrain has a long-stroke configuration designed to favour low-end torque, aligning with the bike’s relaxed cruiser character.

The Eliminator is built around a steel trellis frame and features a 41 mm telescopic front fork with 120 mm of travel, along with twin shock absorbers at the rear with 90 mm of travel. It rides on an 18-inch front and 16-inch rear wheel setup, shod with 130/70 and 150/80 section tyres respectively. Braking duties are handled by a 310 mm front disc and 240 mm rear disc, assisted by dual-channel ABS.

On the features front, it gets full LED lighting and a round LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity via the Rideology app. This display shows speed, gear position, odometer, dual trip meters, fuel level, fuel range, current and average fuel consumption, coolant temperature, and maintenance alerts. Riders also receive smartphone call and message notifications on the display.

The Kawasaki Eliminator competes primarily with the Keeway V302C in the sub-500cc cruiser segment while directly rivalling the Honda Rebel 500. While priced higher, it also serves as an alternative to the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, which offers more displacement and performance at a lower price.
