The Kawasaki Z400 was released in the international market in March 2023. It is also Euro 5 complaint which will be acceptable as BS6 in India. Kawasaki Z400 Price: The Kawasaki Z400 will come in one standard variant. Taking a hint from the international market, the Kawasaki Z400 could cost around 5 lakh Rupees or more ex-showroom in Delhi. Kawasaki Z400 Design: Like all the other Z series sportbikes, this one has a bold street presence too. Even though it doesn’t look as beefy as the higher end ones, the Z400 feels adequate for an entry level Z series bike. The stance of this bike is unique as it follows the Japanese ‘Sugomi’ design philosophy. It looks intimidating and powerful for a 400cc bike due to ‘Sugomi’ character. This beginner streetfighter will be available in Candy Lime Green with black, White with a hint of black or even Black with assorted colours like the Z400s that are available in Thailand. Kawasaki Z400 Dimension: The seat is at a height of 785 mm and the ground clearance is 145 mm. The front gets telescopic forks and the rear gets a pre-load adjustable mono-shock for suspensions. The Z400 will weigh 165 kilograms. Kawasaki Z400 Features: The Z400 is expected to have the features that the Ninja 400 has. Like all performance grade bikes, the Z400 will be built around a lightweight Trellis frame. A fully digital instrument cluster is expected to feature a digital tachometer with analogue mock-up. There will be trip meters, fuel gauge and ABS indicator along with the other vital readings. Since this is a base model, it is not expected to have Bluetooth connectivity. Kawasaki Z400 Engine and Performance: A 399cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, parallel-twin engine will run the Z400. It produces 45 HP at 10,000 RPM and 38 Nm torque at 8,000 RPM. The engine is linked to a 6-speed transmission. Kawasaki Z400 Mileage: The Z400 returns a mileage between 22 to 28 kilometers a litre depending on riding conditions.
