Indian Scout Bobber: Engine, Performance and Specifications
Powering the 2025 Indian Scout Bobber is the new 1,250 cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine, dubbed the SpeedPlus 1250. This unit develops 105 bhp and 108 Nm of peak torque, and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The new motor replaces the older 1,133 cc unit and complies with stricter emission norms while offering improved torque delivery and mid-range response. The Scout Bobber continues to use a belt drive system and features rear-set footpegs and a low seat height, emphasising its aggressive rider triangle and low-slung appearance.
In terms of chassis setup, the motorcycle uses 41 mm telescopic front forks with 120 mm of wheel travel, and dual rear shocks with 51 mm of travel. Braking is handled by a 298 mm disc up front with a 2-piston caliper and a 298 mm disc at the rear with a 1-piston caliper. It rides on 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli MT60RS.
The Scout Bobber is equipped with modern features while preserving its old-school bobber charm. The standard version gets an analogue instrument cluster with a digital inset, dual-channel ABS, and LED headlight. The Limited variant adds traction control, cruise control, three ride modes (Sport, Standard, Tour), USB charging port, and premium badging. The range-topping Limited +Tech trim brings a 4-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and keyless ignition.
