KTM 790 Duke:

The KTM 790 Duke was first introduced to the Indian motorcycle market in 2019 as a middleweight naked bike. While it was discontinued the following year, it was expected to make a return to our shores by 2025. Since the 790 Duke's market exit, the brand has yet to announce any official confirmation regarding its re-entry. With the 890 Duke's presence in the portfolio, KTM India is not expected to re-launch the 790 Duke.

The Scalpel

I have been riding the KTM Duke 790 for some time now, and it truly lives up to its nickname, "The Scalpel." The looks and styling are incredibly aggressive and unique, making it a head-turner on every street. When it comes to performance, the 799cc parallel-twin engine is a masterpiece. The power delivery is instant, and the electronics package (like cornering ABS and traction control) makes you feel very confident. Its handling is where it shines the most; it is light, flickable, and extremely precise in corners. Regarding mileage, I am getting around 18-20 kmpl in the city and slightly more on highways, which is fair for a bike of this caliber. The servicing experience has been decent, though maintenance and spare parts can be on the expensive side compared to smaller Dukes. If you want a bike that offers pure adrenaline and top-tier tech, this is the one!
