<p>Kawasaki launched the new W175 Street motorcycle in India on Friday at an introductory pricing of  <span class='webrupee'>₹</span>1.35 lakh (ex-showroom). Launched at the India Bike Week 2023, the motorcycle comes incorporating a retro-classic style that grabs attention at the very first glance. Also, this comes with a compact yet powerful 177 cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine that puts the model among one of the most affordable Kawasaki motorcycles in India.</p>

<p>The Japanese two-wheeler giant launched the <a class="autobacklink-topic" target="_blank" href="https://auto.hindustantimes.com/new-bikes/kawasaki" data-name="Kawasaki">Kawasaki</a> W175 Street at the Inia Bike Week 2023 and announced that deliveries of this model will commence from December 2023 only. Kawasaki claims the motorcycle is a made-in-India and made-for-India machine.</p>

<p>The Kawasaki W175 Street comes with a retro-themed circular multi-reflector headlamp that gets a chrome bezel enhancing the classic charm. It comes available in Candy Emerald Green and Metallic Moondust Gray colour options.</p>

<p>This W175 Street motorcycle joins the existing W175 in the brand's portfolio that is available in India at a price tag of  <span class='webrupee'>₹</span>1.47 lakh (ex-showroom). Compared to the W175 Street, the standard W175 is slightly cheaper and comes available in Ebony and Candy Persimmon Red paint options. The all-new Kawasaki W175 Street follows the retro-classic styling ethos of the W175. Built on a semi-double cradle frame, the motorcycle gets a semi-digital retro-themed instrument cluster.</p>

<p>It runs on alloy wheels wrapped with tubeless tyres. For braking performance, the motorcycle gets a 270 mm front disc and single-channel ABS. It gets telescopic front forks and dual-shock rear suspension.</p>

<p>On the powertrain front, the Kawasaki W175 Street gets energy from a 177 cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine paired with a five-speed transmission. The powertrain is capable of churning out 12.82 bhp peak power at 7,000 rpm and 13.3 Nm of maximum torque at 6,000 rpm.</p>

The camp will take place in Cochin from the 14th to the 17th of December 2023 and the owners of 2019-2020 models can take advantage of the service camp. The manufacturer will offer several services as part of the service camp.</p>

<p>Some of the key highlights of the service camp are a comprehensive motorcycle health check-up, extended warranty offers and exchange/buyback evaluation. Owners attending the service camp may be eligible for a free extended warranty, depending on the health assessment of their motorcycles. The exchange/buyback initiative aims to make the upgrade process smoother for interested owners. Following the Cochin camp, the Mega Service Camp will travel across key cities in South India, including Bangalore, Chennai, Calicut, and Hyderabad.</p>

<p>The newest launch from the manufacturer was the <a class="autobacklink-topic" target="_blank" href="https://auto.hindustantimes.com/new-bikes/jawa/42" data-name="42">42</a> Bobber Black Mirror. It is the new top-end version of the motorcycle that sits at  <span class='webrupee'>₹</span>2.25 lakh ex-showroom. <a class="manualbacklink" target="_blank" href="https://auto.hindustantimes.com/auto/two-wheelers/2023-jawa-42-bobber-black-mirror-launched-at-rs-2-25-lakh-gets-alloy-wheels-41694065943723.html">42 Bobber Black Mirror </a>gets a chrome fuel tank that enhances the look of the motorcycle. The 42 Bobber now also has alloy wheels that are finished in dual-tone and they are wrapped in tubeless tyres. The gear and engine covers have been redesigned as well. The side panel is still finished in black and spells out “42 Bobber”.</p>

<p>There are mechanical changes as well. The size of the throttle body has been increased from 33 mm to 38 mm. The idling RPM has been decreased from 1,500 to 1,350. The fuel map has been updated as well. The rear monoshock has been retweaked for better ride quality.</p>

<p>Hyundai Motor India, on Thursday, announced a price hike for its entire range of cars in the country. The revised pricing will be applicable from 1st January 2024. The South Korean automaker has stated that the price hike has become necessary because of rising costs of production. With this move, Hyundai becomes the latest automaker to announce a price hike, effective from the first day of next year.</p>

<p>Just a few days ago, several automakers in India announced price hikes for their respective passenger vehicles. <p>In an official release, Hyundai said the price hike has been decided owing to rising input costs, adverse exchange rates and an increase in commodity prices, among other reasons. Speaking about the price hike, Tarun Garg, COO of Hyundai Motor India, said that it has become imperative to pass on some portion of rising input costs to the consumers through a minor price hike.</p>

<p>However, the car manufacturer didn't reveal the extent of the price hike and which car will see how much price hike. “At Hyundai Motor India, we always try to absorb the cost escalations to the extent possible and ensure continuous customer delight. However, it has now become imperative to pass on some portion of the rising input cost to the market through a minor price increase. The price hike will be effective from January 1st, 2024,” Garg said. Hyundai also said that it will continue to make efforts to minimize future price impacts on customers.</p>

<h2>4. Yamaha R3</h2><p>Making a grand comeback to India will be the all-new Yamaha R3 on December 15, 2023. The motorcycle is all set to come here in a new generation and a completely new avatar over its predecessor. Power will come from the 321 cc parallel-twin motor and prices are expected to start around  <span class='webrupee'>₹</span>4 lakh (ex-showroom).</p>

<h2>5. Yamaha MT-03</h2><p>Coming to India for the first time will be the Yamaha MT-03, the naked version based on the R3. Both bikes share the same 321 cc twin-cylinder engine but get the alien-face design language borrowed from Yamaha’s bigger streetfighter range. The MT-03 is expected to be priced from  <span class='webrupee'>₹</span>3.70 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.</p>

<p>The special paint scheme on the Stealth Edition comes with a base layer of the ‘Silver Ice’ mirror finish, followed by a ‘Sapphire Black’ graphite vignette. The paint scheme is covered in several layers of translucent tinted lacquer for the rich sheen on top. The new colour scheme is unique to the Stealth Editions and the bikes will be built in limited numbers.</p>

<p>Triumph previously announced that it will build the Stealth Editions only for one year and deliveries will commence globally from February 2024. Expect the Bonnie Stealth Editions to command a premium price tag, while landing in India in limited quantities.</p>
