This electric scooter is Hero Electric’s answer to the new generation of EVs. With several utilitarian features, the Hero Electric Nyx HX has appealed to the Indian market.

 Hero Electric Nyx HX Design: 

 

This electric scooter has a mid-2000 era scooter design on the front and a utilitarian rear side. 
Hero Electric has designed this scooter to serve as a commuter as well as functional scooter to carry stuff in the rear. 
A small dashboard below the ignition switch has a bottle holder as well as adequate space to carry a phone and few documents. 
The Hero Electric Nyx HX is available in two colours, Silver and Black. A minimalistic red & white sticker job surrounds the scooter and a green suspension in the rear makes it distinct. 
 

 Hero Electric Nyx HX Dimension: 

 

The Hero Electric Nyx HX is longer than an average electric commuter. It comes equipped with two separate seats where the rear one can be folded to provide as a backrest to the rider. A utility box can be installed in place of the rear seat. 
The back seat could also be removed totally to make way for a bigger utility box. 
The scooter weighs about 80 kilograms. 
 

 Hero Electric Nyx HX Features: 

 

The combi-brake feature ensures better stopping capability as this scooter has drum brakes on both ends. Regenerative braking also allows the battery to charge. 
An all LED lighting setup on this scooter minimizes power consumption when compared to incandescent bulbs. 
The scooter also gets a fully digital instrument cluster with a USB charging socket to charge mobile phones. An anti-theft alarm is also included as standard. 
 

 Hero Electric Nyx HX Engine and Performance: 

 

A 600 watt motor is paired with two 51.2 volt 30 Ampere hours lithium-ion batteries. The Hero Electric Nyx HX has two batteries out of which one can be conveniently charged while not in use. 
The scooter has a top speed of 42kmph. 
 

 Hero Electric Nyx HX Mileage: 

 

Each battery takes four to five hours to charge fully. According to Hero Electric, the Nyx HX gets a riding range of 138 kilometers in a single charge.

The PraisePro doesn’t have as many features as its sibling, the iPraise+. The looks of the two are the same as well, but the PraisePro has a sports mode!

 Okinawa PraisePro Design: 
 
Like most of the new generation scooters, the PraisePro has a large front end that tapers towards the rear. The ‘W’ shaped grab-rail in the rear is unique and has good grip. 
A dual tone paint scheme is given to this scooter make it stand out of the crowd. The black aluminium alloy wheels add to the overall look as well. 
The Okinawa PraisePro comes in six colours; Glossy Blue Black, Glossy Red Black, Glossy Sparkle Black, Honeycomb Theme Blue, Honeycomb Theme Green and Honeycomb Theme Yellow Orange. 
 

 Okinawa PraisePro Dimension: 
 
The hydraulic telescopic suspensions in the front and a double shocker with dual tube technology in the rear make this scooter ready for bad roads too. The ground clearance is at a good 175mm. 
The scooter can haul 150 kilograms including the rider at efficient speeds. 
 

 Okinawa PraisePro Features: 
 
The Okinawa PraisePro features disk brakes in the front as well as the rear giving it effective stopping distance. The brakes are governed by Electronic- Assisted Braking System (E-ABS) and have regenerative braking. 
The e-scooter has a full LED set-up for DRL, headlamp and tail-light. The instrument cluster is also fully digital. 
The PraisePro also has a micro-charger system for charging along with an auto cut function. 
 

 Okinawa PraisePro Engine and Performance: 
 
Okinawa PraisePro’s 1000 watt BLDC motor is run by a 72V, 2 kWh detachable battery. This makes the scooter reach a speed of 58kmph. 
The PraisePro can also take on uphill climbs with 7 degree inclination with ease. 
 

 Okinawa PraisePro Mileage: 
 
Okinawa claims that the Lithium-ion battery of PraisePro can charge fully in a maximum of three hours. 
When the scooter runs on sports mode, it has a range of 88 kilometers.
