MG Motor, or Morris Garages, is a British sports vehicle and minicar manufacturer. Cecil Kimber launched the company in 1924. With its long and illustrious history, the company's ownership has shifted throughout the years, from varied commercial groups to Chinese state-run SAIC Motor.
 

The MG Car Club was founded in 1930, and the MG C-Type and Q-Type were produced in the following years. The British Motor Corporation took over in the 1950s (BMC). Following it, the A- and B-Series engines were introduced.
The ultra-stylish LHD MGA 1500 roadster became the 100,000th MG in 1956. MG developed the MG 1100/1300 family of compact automobiles after moving production to Longbridge in 1962. Complex takeovers and turmoil in the automotive sector due to foreign competition took their toll on the MG brand, which was eventually sold to Rover and later BMW. The MG name was revived in Austin models such as the Metro, Maestro, and Montego, as well as temporarily in the MG F, which became Britain's best-selling inexpensive sports car.
 

In 2000, the MG Rover Group was formed, ushering in a new era of production. In 2002, MG returned to its roots with the MG TF, a modernised version of the TF Midget. After moving production to China, MG resurfaced in 2010 with the MG6 GT fastback.MG Motor India opened its production facilities in Halol, Gujarat, in 2017. In the core of the market, a luxury midsize SUV was introduced, followed by an all-electric SUV.
 

The MG Astor is the company's newest model, and it's the first compact SUV in India to offer both AI and Level 2 ASAS safety features. However, these features will only be offered as an option on the VTi-Tech Sharp CVT and 220 Sharp AT models.

Founded in India in 1945, Tata Motors is one of the leading automobile producers in the world. It was originally established as a locomotive manufacturer. In 1954, Tata Motors entered the commercial vehicle sector with Germany's Daimler-Benz. 
 
In 1991, Tata Motors made their leap of faith into the passenger vehicle sector. One of the first cars it launched was the Tata Sierra. Tata Sierra was a sports utility vehicle (SUV). Eventually, the company went on to launch Tata Estate, Tata Sumo and Tata Safari. But it was the launch of Tata Indica in 1998 that changed the game for them. 
 
Indica was launched as a fully indigenous Indian car. Its fuel economy and powerful engine captured the imagination of Indians. The newer version of the car, Indica V2, quickly became a mass favourite. After a successful entry into the passenger vehicle segment, after ruling the commercial vehicle segment, Tata Motors was listed at the New York Stock Exchange in 2004. 
 
In 2008, the company acquired Jaguar Land Rover from Ford Motor Company. It currently controls the majority stake in the British car maker. Some of the other companies Tata Motors has under its ambit are Daewoo, Hispano Carrocera and Marcopolo. 
 
The company has also started launching electric vehicles in India. Car buyers in India can get e-versions of cars like Tata Nexon and Tata Tigor. The company has also launched Tata Avinya, a next generation concept EV car. It is expected to run around 500 kms with a charge of 30 minutes. The production of the car is expected to start from 2025.

The name "Kia" is derived from the Sino-Korean terms ki ("to come out") and a (which stands for Asia), and roughly translates to "arise or come up out of Asia," according to Kia Motors. Kia, South Korea's oldest car firm, began as a hand-made steel tubing and bicycle components factory in 1944, and has since evolved into one of the country's Chaebols.
 

Kia began producing complete bicycles in 1951. Kia changed its name from Kyungsung Precision Industry in 1952, and went on to produce motorcycles (beginning in 1957), trucks (1962), and automobiles (1974). The Sohari Plant, the company's first integrated vehicle assembly plant, debuted in 1973. Kia re-entered the vehicle industry in 1986, partnering with Ford. Kia built a number of Mazda-based vehicles for both domestic and international markets in South Korea.
Kia Motors America was founded in the United States in 1992. In 1995, there were over a hundred Kia dealerships in thirty states, selling a total of 24,740 cars.
 

Kia has been focusing on the European market since 2005, and design has been highlighted as its "key future growth engine." Kia produced more than 100,000 Kia Sportages in 2015, breaking the model's yearly production record. Kia India Private Limited is a Kia subsidiary responsible for the company's Indian operations. The company was created in 2017, and mass manufacturing of the Kia Seltos, its debut product, began in 2019.
 

Kia Motors' latest offering in India is the Kia Carens. It will be presented in  December, 2021 and most likely be powered by Seltos 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. Both manual and automatic transmissions are likely to be available on the new Kia Carens.

BMW, or Bayerische Motoren Werke AG, is a German automobile manufacturer known for producing high-quality sports sedans and motorcycles. The company's headquarters are in Munich.
 

It began as Bayerische Flugzeug-Werke, a manufacturer of aircraft engines, in 1916. In July 1917, it changed its name to Bayerische Motoren Werke and began producing motorcycles in the 1920s. In 1928, BMW made its debut in the automobile industry. The R32 motorcycle produced by the business set a world speed record that was not broken until 1937. During World War II, BMW produced the world's first jet aeroplane engines, which were employed by Germany's Luftwaffe. In 1952, BMW released its first post-war automobile named The BMW 501. The Rosslyn facility in South Africa, became the contemporary BMW Group's first production location outside of Germany in 1972. In the year 2006, BMW launched its activities in India. In 2007, the company created a sales subsidiary in Gurgaon, as well as an assembly plant in Chennai, India. The BMW Group is the world's leading manufacturer of premium vehicles and motorcycles, as well as a provider of premium financial and mobility services, with 31 production and assembly facilities in 15 countries and a global sales network.
