Yamaha has finally launched the R3 in the Indian market.
It is priced at Rs 4,64,900 ex-showroom.
The price is on the higher side because the motorcycle comes to India through CBU route
The motorcycle directly competes against the Aprilia RS 457 which costs less than it and is more powerful as well.
The R3 is quite basic in terms of features which will appeal to purists.
However, it might be too basic for some people considering that it does not even get a slip-and-assist clutch
