BYD has launched its Atto 3 EV in the country at ₹34 lakh (ex-showroom)
First showcased in October, BYD says it has 1,500 bookings for Atto 3
The EV was expected to rival MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona but is priced well above
The ZS EV has a starting price of ₹22.58 lakh (ex-showroom)
Hyundai Kona is priced at ₹23.84 lakh (ex-showroom)
But the Atto 3 has an ARAI-certified range of 521 kms
BYD is offering a 7kW home charger with every Atto 3 unit
