Honda-GM collaborate for driverless ride service

Honda and GM will roll out driverless ride service in Tokyo from 2026

The Cruise Origin vehicle is designed to pick up customers from designated points and drop them to marked areas, minus any driver input

The vehicle no driver's seat or steering wheel, opening more area for passengers. Six can be seated at one time

In initial phase, there would be a few dozen units but the number will eventually touch 500
