The 2025 Volvo XC60 marks the second major update to the luxury mid-size SUV and strengthens its position as the brand’s best-selling model globally and in India. With over 2.7 million units sold worldwide, the refreshed XC60 now arrives in India with notable design enhancements, upgraded infotainment tech, and new interior features. Assembled locally at Volvo’s Bengaluru facility, the facelifted XC60 continues to serve as a key offering in Volvo’s India portfolio, positioned against rivals like the BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC, and Lexus NX 350h.

The 2025 Volvo XC60 price in India starts at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹71.90 lakh. This revised pricing places it slightly above the outgoing model, in line with the equipment and design upgrades.

Volvo XC60: Launch Date

The updated Volvo XC60 made its India debut on August 1, 2025. The facelift follows its global reveal earlier this year, with India-spec deliveries expected to begin shortly after the official launch.

Volvo XC60: Variants & Colours

The XC60 facelift is offered in a single fully loaded B5 Ultimate variant. Volvo has introduced new exterior colour options such as Forest Lake and Mulberry Red, in addition to the existing palette. Cosmetic enhancements include redesigned alloy wheels, a sharper front grille with diagonal slats, revised LED taillights, and a cleaner rear design that omits chrome elements for a more premium appearance.

The 2025 XC60 gets a major tech upgrade, led by a new 11.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Cockpit Platform. Running on Android Automotive OS, the system integrates Google Maps, Assistant, and Play Store support, and allows for over-the-air (OTA) updates. A 12.3-inch digital driver’s display complements the main infotainment system.

The cabin features Nappa leather upholstery with contrast stitching, genuine wood inlays, and a crystal gear selector. Equipment highlights include a 15-speaker, 1410-watt Bowers & Wilkins sound system, four-zone climate control, air purification, ventilated and massage seats, and a panoramic sunroof. Other features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a hands-free tailgate, adaptive LED headlights, and improved storage and cupholder design.

Under the hood, the XC60 retains the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. It produces 247 bhp and 360 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The SUV can sprint from 0–100 kmph in 6.9 seconds. Electronic air suspension, hill descent control, and adaptive cruise control enhance ride quality and off-road adaptability.

Volvo XC60: Safety

The XC60 comes equipped with an advanced ADAS suite. This includes multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, adaptive cruise control with Pilot Assist, lane-keeping assist, blind spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, and collision mitigation systems. A 360-degree camera and auto emergency braking further bolster occupant protection.
