Volvo XC40 Recharge Expected Release Date:
The Volvo XC40 Recharge is expected to be available in Indian markets in October 2022. XC40 Recharge is Volvo's first all-electric SUV, and it's built on the same CMA platform as its gasoline-powered sibling. As part of a facelift, the XC40 Recharge in India will get some modest changes to the grille and front fender.

Volvo XC40 Recharge Features :
Volvo XC40 Recharge has a white-finished strip in front of the Volvo badge instead of a grille, and new alloy wheels. The XC40 Recharge, like the Tesla cars, has a front-mounted frunk with a 31-litre capacity. The tablet-sized touchscreen is wedged between two extended aircon vents in the centre stack and the trademark 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel in a traditional Volvo configuration. A motorised tailgate, a 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, an air purifier, a 13-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a 12-inch digital drivers display, a panoramic sunroof, and a wireless phone charger are just a few of the features available on the Volvo XC40 Recharge. The XC40 Recharge comes standard with a Google Android OS 9-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as built-in Google apps and services including Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Google Play Store.
Volvo XC40 Recharge Performance:
The electric SUV has a dual-motor drivetrain with electric motors rated at 150 kW on each axle which will be powered by a 78kWh battery that provides 408PS of power and 660 Nm of peak torque. It will be equipped with an all-wheel-drive system and have a range of 419 kilometres according to the WLTP(World harmonised Light-Duty Vehicles Test Procedure). The SUV can charge from zero to eighty percent in 40 minutes. With a top speed of 180kmph, the 0-100kmph sprint takes only 4.9 seconds.

Volvo XC40 Recharge can seat 5-people. Its boot space capacity is 414-litres. 
Volvo XC40 Recharge Rivals :
The Audi e-Tron, Mercedes-Benz EQC, and Jaguar I-Pace will all be competitors for the Volvo XC40 Recharge.
