Urban Cruiser, Toyota's new addition has jumped into the fray, hoping to take a piece of the lucrative market. The Urban Cruiser's main selling point is its practicality. The available capacity is superior to that of most competitors, and it appeals to consumers who are constantly under pressure to transport a family of five.
Car Exteriors:
The front of the Toyota Urban Cruiser has been revised, alongwith the headlamps and bonnet. Its front grille is inspired by the Fortuner, and the fog lamp housings in the bumper gives it a distinctive Toyota look. The grille lies on the chin of the car, with dual slat design and bars on the flank. The front apron is more upright and muscular, with revised skid plate. The Urban Cruiser has 16-inch alloy wheels on the sides. Aside from the logos, the chrome strip above the number plate housing reads Urban Cruiser, and the bumper cladding is unique.
Cabin comfort and interior:
The door pads on the Urban Cruiser have brown cloth inserts. The front seats are comfy, and the layout is functional, with door pockets, seatback pockets, armrest cupholders, and a baggage hook integrated into the front seat. The rear seat has plenty of knee and head room, even for tall passengers, and getting in and out is simple, even for the elderly because of the high-set seat. The boot is large at 328 litres, and the back seat can be folded 60:40 to transport more cargo. A 7-inch touchscreen with Android and Apple connectivity, climate control, and a chilled glovebox are all included in the Urban Cruiser.
Engine and Speed:
A 1.5-litre petrol four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine powers the Urban Cruiser. It produces 103 horsepower and 138 Nm of peak torque. There are two transmission options: a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic torque converter. The light, well-judged clutch, smooth 5-speed gearbox, and light steering all contribute to the driver's comfort. The Urban Cruiser accelerates from zero to 100 kilometres per hour in 11.52 seconds.
