The 2025 update also includes a new Neo Drive mild-hybrid diesel trim, offering better low-end driveability and improved efficiency without altering engine output.

The 2025 Toyota Fortuner range comprises 15 key variants: Petrol 4x2 MT, Petrol 4x2 AT, Diesel 4x2 MT, Diesel 4x2 AT, Diesel 4x4 MT, Diesel 4x4 AT, and the flagship GR-S Diesel 4x4 AT. The Fortuner Legender is available in two diesel-only automatic trims. Additionally, the newly introduced Neo Drive variant pairs the standard 2.8-litre diesel engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system. The SUV is available in a selection of solid and dual-tone paint options, depending on the variant.

Toyota Fortuner Mileage

The Fortuner offers an ARAI-claimed fuel efficiency ranging from 10 kmpl to 14.4 kmpl, varying across the petrol and diesel variants. The introduction of the Neo Drive system in 2025 has further improved the diesel model’s mileage in real-world urban driving. All variants are equipped with an 80-litre fuel tank, making the SUV well-suited for long-distance touring.

Engine options include a 2.7-litre petrol unit that produces 163 bhp and 245 Nm, available with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The 2.8-litre diesel engine delivers 201 bhp, with 420 Nm in the manual and 500 Nm in the automatic configuration. The Neo Drive mild-hybrid variant retains the same output figures but benefits from a 48V system for enhanced torque delivery at low speeds and better start-stop efficiency.

Fortuner diesel 4x4 variants come equipped with a part-time four-wheel-drive system, Multi-Terrain Select, Downhill Assist Control, and switchable High/Low range gearing. On the feature front, the SUV includes three drive modes (Eco, Normal, Sport), ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, connected car features, and a powered tailgate with memory function. A standard eight-inch infotainment unit supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. JBL’s 11-speaker system is exclusive to diesel variants, while petrol trims receive a six-speaker setup.

The Fortuner has secured a five-star safety rating from ASEAN NCAP. It is equipped with seven airbags, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability control, brake assist, and traction control. ISOFIX mounts are present in the second row, and the front seats follow Toyota’s Whiplash Injury Lessening (WIL) design for enhanced protection in rear-end collisions. Additional features include rear parking sensors, a reverse camera, and hill-start assist. The Fortuner’s safety equipment supports both urban and off-road use cases.

Great Family Car Under 1 Crore

This car is perfect for families in the higher middle class. If you're looking for a vehicle under 1 crore, the Toyota Fortuner is definitely the way to go. The appearance of this car is fantastic. When you're driving it on the road, you really feel at ease. It's capable of going anywhere, whether it's sand or mud; you can take this car wherever you want. No matter where you drive, you feel like you shine with this vehicle!

A Powerful Car with Style

This car has a really cool look and lots of attitude! It's truly a powerhouse with great performance. The comfort it offers and the way it accelerates is just amazing! There are many colors to choose from, but I personally prefer white. To me, white represents beauty while black shows attitude, and all the other colors are great too. All in all, it’s a beast when it comes to driving on Indian roads.

Amazing Performance and Features

I’ve had an amazing experience with my Toyota Fortuner. The performance is top-notch, and it’s loaded with some really cool features. Off-roading in this car feels effortless – it handles rough terrain so well, with solid grip and great braking. The torque is powerful, and overall it’s super easy and friendly to drive. The high ground clearance is a big plus, especially on bad roads. People always have good things to say about the Fortuner – its toughness, powerful engine, and rock-solid reliability. On top of that, the resale value is really good too. If you want something that delivers both performance and durability, this one’s a no-brainer.
