its one of the best SUV. The Tata Nexon CNG offers a rate blend of turbocharged performance and low running costs, making it a strong contender for eco-conscious buyers. While real-world mileage is lower than claimed and refinement could be better, it retains solid features, safety and practicality.

Low ground clearance full

When loaded fully with five adult passengers and heavy luggage stacked in the boot the rear suspension sags noticeably. You have to be extra cautious when navigating over large speed breaks to avoid touching the underbody structure.

Hard armrest cushions

The front door armrests are made of hard textured plastic without any soft padding material. On long highway journeys extending over four hours it becomes quite uncomfortable for the drivers elbow. Small ergonomic miss by design team.

Rattling sound from door

Within two months of ownership minor rattling noises have started coming from the front passenger door pad over rough patches. The sound insulation is otherwise good but these small fitment issues ruin the premium vibe of the cabin.

Confusing touch buttons

The new touch sensitive central control panel looks futuristic but lacks physical feedback. You have to repeatedly look down away from the road to adjust simple functions like fog lights or lock doors which feels unsafe while driving fast.

Limited rear visibility

The thick rear C-pillars and small glass area make reversing into tight parking spots quite challenging without relying completely on the camera. The camera display itself takes a couple of seconds to boot up after engaging reverse gear.

High initial price tag

The premium charged over the standard petrol variant feels high. It will take me at least two years of extensive driving to recover the extra upfront cost through fuel savings alone. Good car but price positioning could be more aggressive.

Small petrol tank issue

The auxiliary petrol tank capacity is quite small in this model. If you run out of cng gas on remote highway routes you have to look for petrol pumps very frequently. The vehicle weight also feels heavy while taking sharp continuous U-turns.

Soft braking response

The brake pedal feels a bit spongy during initial press down. While the vehicle stops safely due to electronic aids the confidence inspiring sharp bite is missing considering the extra weight carried by the twin gas cylinders at the back.

Infotainment system bugs

The large screen looks beautiful but suffers from software glitches frequently. Sometimes the audio volume drops automatically or the maps screen freezes mid way during navigation navigation. Requires frequent restarting to fix the system.
