Skoda Elroq: Overview
The Skoda Elroq marks the Czech carmaker’s first fully electric compact SUV and the global debut of its new Modern Slide design language. Unveiled internationally at a starting price of €33,000 (around ₹30.63 lakh), the Elroq will begin deliveries in early 2025 and is expected to arrive in India by mid-2025. It is the first of three all-electric models Skoda plans to introduce globally over the next five years, signalling the brand’s accelerated push towards electrification.

Skoda Elroq: Variants & Colours
The Elroq will be offered in multiple trims, including the standard version, a sportier Sportline variant, and a limited-run First Edition model. Buyers will have nine colour options: Timiano Green, Moon White, Black Magic, Velvet Red, Rae Blue, Graphite Grey, Steel Grey, Brilliant Silver, and Energy Blue.
Skoda Elroq: Battery & Range
Built on Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform, the Elroq will be available with three battery sizes — 55 kWh, 63 kWh, and 82 kWh. The entry-level Elroq 50 features a 168 bhp motor with a range of up to 370 km, while the top-tier Elroq 85 gets a 282 bhp motor and exceeds 560 km of range. The Elroq 85x variant adds all-wheel drive for improved traction and performance. Fast charging from 10–80% is possible in approximately 24 minutes via a DC charger.

The Elroq achieves a drag coefficient of 0.26, aided by active cooling and air-curtain elements. The Tech Deck Face replaces the traditional Skoda grille, while triple-LED DRLs linked by a glossy black panel sit above the dual-projector LED headlamps, available in standard or Matrix LED form. The SUV also features chrome-trimmed bumpers, skid plates, and muscular wheel designs.
Inside, the cabin centres around a 13-inch infotainment system with a physical button bar for key functions, paired with a fully digital instrument cluster. Options include an Augmented Reality heads-up display. Sustainable materials are used throughout the cabin, and the boot offers up to 1,580 litres of cargo capacity.
