The 2025 Renault Triber is set to receive a midlife facelift, as officially confirmed in January 2025. Expected to launch in the second half of the year, the updated model has been spotted in testing, revealing several exterior design changes. The Triber continues to position itself as a compact and affordable alternative to larger MPVs in the Indian market, with expected updates to its features and safety suite.
The facelifted Renault Triber is anticipated to be priced slightly higher than the current model, which is available between ₹6.10 lakh and ₹8.97 lakh (ex-showroom). The final pricing structure will be revealed closer to the launch date, with a slight premium.
The exterior of the 2025 Renault Triber is expected to bear notable changes. The rear section is likely to feature a split-type LED tail light design, a redesigned bumper, and more pronounced creases on the tailgate. The front fascia may include updated headlights, a revised grille, and a newly designed bumper.
The interior updates remain undisclosed, but a refreshed dashboard layout and a revised cabin theme, similar to the Nissan Magnite facelift, are expected. The feature set will likely remain largely similar to the existing model, which includes an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch semi-digital driver's display, and a 6-speaker sound system. Additional upgrades could include automatic climate control and an auto-dimming inside rear-view mirror.
The 2025 Renault Triber is expected to continue with the existing 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 71 bhp of power and 96 Nm of torque. This engine will be available with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). A CNG option will also be available, which can be retrofitted by an authorised vendor.
There is speculation that the updated Triber could receive the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine from the Renault Kiger, which produces 98.6 bhp. However, there is no official confirmation from Renault.
The Renault Triber serves as a more compact and affordable alternative to MPVs like the Maruti Ertiga, Maruti XL6, and Kia Carens.
