Mercedes-Benz has introduced the all-electric CLA for the Indian market, marking the first time the CLA nameplate transitions to a fully electric powertrain. Built on the brand’s new Modular Architecture (MMA), the model represents the next step in Mercedes-Benz’s electrification strategy and is positioned as an entry-level electric sedan within the company’s global portfolio.
The CLA Electric is also expected to streamline Mercedes-Benz’s entry-level lineup in India by effectively replacing models such as the Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine, Mercedes-Benz EQA and Mercedes-Benz EQB.
Bookings for the electric CLA are now open in India with a token amount of ₹1.5 lakh ahead of its official launch scheduled for mid-April 2026.
