Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance: Specs & Features
The AMG C 63 S E Performance distinguishes itself from the standard C-Class with aggressive design enhancements. The AMG-specific grille with vertical bars dominates the front, complemented by wider fenders and ‘Turbo E Performance’ badging with gloss black vents. The car’s front end is 50 mm longer, and the wheelbase is extended by 0.4 inches. At the rear, a gloss black diffuser, boot lip spoiler, and quad exhaust tips in black give it a more athletic look. The package is completed with newly designed 19-inch alloy wheels.
The biggest highlight is under the hood. Mercedes-AMG has replaced the traditional V8 with a 2.0-litre inline four-cylinder engine paired with an electric turbocharger and a strong hybrid setup. The performance sedan produces a combined output of 671 bhp and 1,019 Nm of torque, channelled through the 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system. This allows the AMG C 63 S E Performance to sprint from 0–100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds, making it one of the quickest sedans in its class.
The AMG C 63 S E Performance is equipped with advanced performance technology, including eight AMG Dynamic Select drive modes, AMG Ride Control suspension with Adaptive Damping, and 2.5-degree rear-axle steering for improved agility. Inside, it features the latest Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system with AMG- and hybrid-specific functions, voice control, and AI-based personalisation. The cabin is further enhanced with an AMG Performance steering wheel, an Exclusive black AMG hood badge, and an optional AMG Aerodynamic Package.
Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance: Mileage
While official figures for India are yet to be confirmed, the hybrid powertrain is designed to balance performance with efficiency. The electric motor assists during city driving to optimise fuel consumption, but the sedan primarily emphasises high performance rather than frugality.
Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance: Safety
Safety equipment includes multiple airbags, ESP with AMG-specific tuning, ADAS features, and hybrid-specific regenerative braking for additional control. Advanced driver assistance systems ensure both high-speed stability and everyday usability.
Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance: Rivals
In India, the AMG C 63 S E Performance competes with other high-performance sedans such as the BMW M3 Competition, Audi RS5 Sportback, and the Porsche Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, positioning itself as a unique offering with its hybrid-enhanced four-cylinder performance setup.
