I bought the top variant of the Grand Vitara about a month ago. Before this, I drove an XUV 500 for 10 years, so switching to Maruti hasn’t been very satisfying for me. The comfort isn’t what I expected, and the car feels quite light in build. I’m also a bit concerned about the material quality, especially from a safety point of view. So far, I’ve driven 1,274 km, and after the first service, the mileage is around 15.4 kmpl.

Absolutely Best Value for Money

Sunroof and 360 Camera are great!

Happy with Automatic Transmission
The 6-speed torque converter AT is very refined. Downshifts are barely noticeable. Great for city traffic and provides a relaxed driving experience. Mileage is better than my previous AT car. Ventilated seats are a MUST-HAVE

My family's new favorite car

Good, but lacks punch
Zeta Mild Hybrid MT. It's a nice car. The cabin is quiet and comfortable. The features are adequate. But the acceleration is linear, not exciting. On steep inclines, it feels a little breathless. All-rounder for the Indian market
The Grand Vitara strikes a good balance. It's spacious, looks premium, has good features like the panoramic sunroof, and the Maruti network is widespread. Practicality personified

Looks of a big SUV, pocket of a hatchback

Infotainment Glitches
The car itself is good, comfortable seats and smooth engine. But the infotainment system (SmartPlay Pro) is glitchy. Android Auto disconnects randomly, and the voice commands are often slow to respond. Needs a software fix ASAP.
