The Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus is a larger, extended-wheelbase version of the standard Bolero Neo. It is aimed at buyers looking for a practical and rugged people-mover with a higher seating capacity. Designed on a ladder-frame chassis, the Bolero Neo Plus accommodates up to nine occupants in a 2-3-4 seating layout, making it suitable for semi-urban and rural applications where maximum passenger capacity is valued over premium features. Based on the same platform as the TUV300 Plus, it combines the body-on-frame toughness of the Bolero line with an updated diesel powertrain and basic cabin equipment.
The Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus price starts from ₹11.41 lakh and goes up to ₹12.51 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The entry-level P4 variant is priced at ₹11.41 lakh, while the better-equipped P10 variant retails for ₹12.51 lakh.
The Bolero Neo Plus was launched in India in April 2024.
The SUV is offered in two variants: P4 and P10. Both variants come with a nine-seater configuration. Colour options available for the Bolero Neo Plus include Napoli Black, Majestic Silver, and Diamond White. The P10 variant features additional equipment over the base trim.
Mahindra has not published official mileage figures for the Bolero Neo Plus. Based on similar vehicles using the same 2.2-litre diesel engine, the model is expected to deliver a real-world fuel economy in the range of 12–14 kmpl, depending on load and driving conditions.
The Bolero Neo Plus is powered by a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder mHawk diesel engine that delivers 118 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox sending power to the rear wheels. The SUV is built on a ladder-frame chassis and measures 4,400 mm in length, 1,795 mm in width, and 1,812 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,680 mm.
Feature highlights include a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with USB and Bluetooth connectivity, a 6-speaker audio system, power windows, manual air conditioning, steering-mounted audio controls, remote central locking, and a height-adjustable driver’s seat. Upholstery is finished in fabric and basic storage spaces are provided throughout the cabin.
Standard safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and seat belt reminders for the front passengers. These basic safety provisions are shared across both variants.
Mahindra has not announced any official discounts or bundled offers on the Bolero Neo Plus. Offers may vary by dealership and region based on inventory and seasonal promotions.
The Bolero Neo Plus does not have any direct nine-seater SUV rivals in the Indian market. However, it serves as a more spacious and rugged alternative to compact SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. It also sits below the Mahindra Scorpio Classic and Scorpio N in terms of features and performance, but offers similar body-on-frame construction for users who prioritise utility over premium appointments.
