The Kia Seltos is a mid-size SUV that first entered the Indian market in 2019 and rapidly became one of Kia India’s strongest-selling products. Positioned in the highly competitive compact SUV segment, it gained traction for its design, powertrain choices and extensive features. It later received a major facelift in 2023 with Level-2 ADAS, a revised turbo-petrol engine and cosmetic enhancements.
Now, as Kia prepares to unveil the all-new 2026 Seltos on December 10, the SUV is set for its most significant generational redesign since launch, adopting the brand’s updated global design language and introducing substantial upgrades in technology, safety and cabin experience.
Ahead of its global debut, Kia has released new teasers showcasing the 2026 Seltos, highlighting a bolder exterior with a widened grille, sharper LED lighting signatures, a new connected tail-lamp bar and redesigns to the bumpers and DRLs. The X-Line trim, in particular, will receive matte black paint and darker exterior accents.
The next-generation model is also expected to feature a more premium, tech-forward interior with a new dual-screen layout, revised dashboard, updated centre console, expanded ADAS capability (Level 2+ expected), and additional convenience features. While engine options are likely to remain unchanged, Kia is expected to introduce a hybrid powertrain, marking the Seltos’ step into the brand’s wider electrification roadmap.
