BMW X1: Overview

The BMW X1 is priced between ₹45.90 lakh and ₹51.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The range starts with the sDrive18i xLine variant and extends to the top-spec sDrive18d M Sport diesel trim. The petrol M Sport variant, sDrive18i M Sport, sits in the middle of the lineup.

BMW India offers the SUV in three variants. These include the petrol-powered sDrive18i xLine and sDrive18i M Sport, and the diesel-powered sDrive18d M Sport. The third-gen BMW X1 is powered by a 1.5-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 134 bhp and 230 Nm, and a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine developing 148 bhp and 360 Nm. Both engines are mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, sending power to the front wheels. The petrol variant accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in 9.2 seconds, while the diesel does the same in 8.9 seconds.
Feature highlights include a dual-screen setup comprising a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 10.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, both running on BMW’s latest iDrive 8 interface. Other equipment includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, adaptive LED headlights, a panoramic sunroof, massaging front seats, electrically adjustable front seats with memory function, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, and a 12-speaker Harman Kardon audio system on select variants.

Safety features include multiple airbags, ABS with brake assist, electronic stability control, cornering brake control (CBC), electronic parking brake, and a rear-view camera.
