Perfect for School Van Duty

My Fortuner Killer

The power delivery is linear and smooth. It does not feel like a body-on-frame car when driving fast. Steering feels light in the city but weighs up nicely. The ride quality over bad roads is superb. Highly recommend the diesel automatic variant.

High Prices, Missing Features

The pricing of this car is way too high for what you get. The top diesel variant of the Carens used to be around 22-23 lakhs with an automatic option, but it's changed now, and the prices have gone up. I really don't care for all those ADAS features; I just want a nice panoramic sunroof. If you're looking at the lower variant, like the HTK Plus N and taking a budget of around 20 lakhs, it should at least come with LED projectors and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Kia still has a long way to go in this regard.
