It's Maruti, so you get the trust. My biggest concern was "is it good for hill driving?" Yes, with careful driving and a full load, the engine is adequate. The ground clearance is good enough for most bad roads. Suspension is soft, making the ride very comfortable.

Finally a 7-seater for everyone!

My kids love the space in the second row, they can recline the seats. The separate AC vents are a blessing, the car cools down very fast. We travel a lot and the luggage space with the 3rd row folded is huge. Safety is top-notch, 4 airbags in the top model is a great addition. A true all-rounder family car.

The front look, the projector headlamps, and the roof rails give it a very SUV-ish stance. The interiors are clean and modern, not cheap at all. The reverse camera quality is clear. There is a loud 'thud' or 'drum-like' sound from the front suspension when going over sharp, small speed breakers, even at low speeds. Service center says it's 'normal' for the Hycross. It's an annoying sound and makes the ride feel less premium. Hoping for a permanent fix soon.
