The Suzuki Intruder 250 is making quite a buzz ever since its patent image was leaked online. Expect a lot of upgrades from the Intruder 250 which is all set to be launched in November this year.

The leaked images showed the design of Intruder 250 as an upgrade to the 150-cc version. It looks quite different to other cruiser bikes, but the difference is its USP in terms of style. The first look gives an impression of a premium motorcycle that appears to be more powerful than a 250-cc engine. In all likelihood, the bike will have a digital instrument cluster, with a speedometer, odometer, tripmeter and tachometer appearing in digital format. The taillamp and head lamp likely be equipped with LED. The bike comprises alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. Early information reveals that the vehicle may not be able to provide mobile connectivity.

The 249-cc engine produces a maximum power of 26.5 PS at 9,000 rpm and peak torque of 22.6 Nm at 7,500 rpm. Notably, the oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine is likely to be BS4 compliant, rather than BS6. The bike is supported by a six-gear manual transmission. The suspension at the rear is expected to be mono, while the front suspension could be telescopic, coil spring, and oil-damped. The braking arrangement comprises disc brakes at both ends and has a dual channel ABS.
