The RE Scram 411 is the equally capable cousin of the RE Himalayan. As the name suggests, Scram 411 is built on a scrambler platform. Royal Enfield Scram is light and makes pursuing off-road trails feel like a dream.

Royal Enfield launched the Scram at a price tag of 2.09 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.

Royal Enfield Scram 411 Design:

This is the first and only scrambler model from the Royal Enfield stable. The RE Scram 411 looks similar to its Himalayan cousin. In comparison to Himalayan however, the Scram has cut down on weight by eliminating the rear carrier, beak fender and a smaller headlight assembly that turns with the handle. The sticker job on the Scram is also attractive and suits the design. Colours come in ‘Blazing Black’, ‘White Flame’, ‘Graphite Red’, ‘Silver Spirit’, ‘Graphite Blue’, ‘Graphite Yellow’ and ‘Skyline Blue’.

Royal Enfield Scram 411 Dimension:

Although the Scram stands tall, it is not as tall as the Himalayan. A short biker struggling with a Himalayan could ride the Scram better as the seat height is reduced on the Scram. The decrease in height of the Scram 411 has in-turn reduced the ground clearance by 20mm. That shouldn’t be much of a concern for lighter riders to experience off-road trails.

Royal Enfield Scram 411 Features:

The RE Scram comes equipped with a semi-digital instrument cluster where the odometer, trip meter and fuel gauge are digital and the speedometer is analogue. This bike also features dual-channel ABS and spoked wheels with tubeless tyres. The telescopic forks on the front and monoshock with linkage on the rear provide great shock absorption.

Royal Enfield Scram 411 Engine and Performance:

A single-cylinder 411cc engine powers the RE Scram. With adequate torque, the air-cooled engine packs a punch while it is easy to manoeuvre in the off-roads. The BSVI compliant engine of the Scram is fuel-injected for better efficiency. It comes with a 5-speed gearbox.

Royal Enfield Scram 411 Mileage:

Royal Enfield has provided the Scram with a tank that holds 15 litres of fuel. Apart from riding long distances, the tank capacity is adequate to go on little adventures along the way. Royal Enfield claims that the Scram 411 gives a mileage of about 35 to 38 kilometres per litre based on riding patterns.


Royal Enfield Scram 411 Rivals:

Yezdi Scrambler, Yezdi Adventure, KTM 250 Adventure, Benelli TRK 251, Jawa Scrambler, Husqvarna Svartpilen 250, Honda CB200X and Suzuki V-Strom SX are direct rivals to the Scram 411. The rivals, however, do not churn out as much torque as the Scram for almost the same price range. Ducati Scrambler and Triumph Scrambler are better contenders if the budget is not a bother.
