The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is the most accessible motorcycle in the company’s J-platform lineup, developed to offer a lighter, more compact roadster experience compared to the Classic 350 and Meteor 350. Launched in August 2022, the Hunter 350 combines a retro-modern aesthetic with revised geometry to target younger urban riders.
With the 2025 update, Royal Enfield has introduced new colour schemes, additional features, and subtle hardware tweaks, enhancing the motorcycle’s practicality and visual appeal. Positioned as a neo-retro alternative in the 350 cc space, the Hunter 350 continues to be a global bestseller for the brand.
The 2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is priced from ₹1.49 lakh (ex-showroom), offered in three trim levels—Factory, Dapper, and Rebel. The base Factory trim is priced at ₹1.49 lakh (ex-showroom), followed by the mid-spec Dapper variant at ₹1.76 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-end Rebel trim is available at ₹1.81 lakh (ex-showroom). Pricing varies based on the level of equipment and colour schemes available on each variant.
The Hunter 350 was first introduced in India on August 7, 2022. It was the third motorcycle based on Royal Enfield’s J-platform after the Meteor 350 and Classic 350. The latest iteration, unveiled in July 2025, brings several key updates, including a revised suspension setup, upgraded lighting, and the introduction of a slip and assist clutch for the first time on a 350 cc RE model.
The Hunter 350 is available in three variants: Factory, Dapper, and Rebel. These differ primarily in their design finishes, wheel types, braking setups, and feature inclusions. The Factory variant, priced at ₹1.49 lakh, comes in a single Factory Black colour and features spoke wheels, a rear drum brake, and single-channel ABS. The Dapper series, priced at ₹1.76 lakh, offers Rio White and Dapper Grey colour options, alloy wheels, dual disc brakes, and dual-channel ABS. The top-end Rebel variant, priced at ₹1.81 lakh, includes Tokyo Black, London Red, and Rebel Blue shades along with all feature upgrades. All aformentioned prices are listed as ex-showroom.
In terms of mechanical layout, the Hunter 350 is available in two styles—the Retro Hunter and the Metro Hunter. The Retro variant uses wire-spoke wheels, a drum brake at the rear, and single-channel ABS. The Metro variant receives alloy wheels, disc brakes at both ends, and dual-channel ABS. This differentiation allows buyers to choose based on budget and performance expectations.
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 returns an ARAI-rated mileage of 36.2 kmpl. In real-world conditions, the fuel economy figure may vary depending on rider input, terrain, and traffic, particularly in urban commuting environments for which the motorcycle is optimised.
The 2025 Hunter 350 continues to be powered by a 349 cc, single-cylinder, air- and oil-cooled engine that produces 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm. This engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox and is now paired with a slip and assist clutch, improving ease of gear shifts and reducing clutch lever effort. This marks the first instance of such a clutch unit on a Royal Enfield 350 cc model.
The 2025 update introduces a new dual-rate rear suspension spring for improved ride quality and stability. Additional changes include a redesigned exhaust setup that increases ground clearance, minor revisions to the seat foam for improved comfort, and repositioned handlebars for a more upright riding posture. The motorcycle continues to use 41 mm telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers with six-step preload adjustment at the rear. Braking hardware includes a 300 mm front disc and a 270 mm rear disc on higher variants, while the base variant uses a 153 mm rear drum. ABS is offered in both single-channel and dual-channel forms depending on the variant.
The Hunter 350 also receives feature updates such as a new LED headlamp, a 27-watt Type-C fast charging port, and the standardisation of the Tripper Navigation unit on the top Rebel trim. The instrument cluster remains a semi-digital unit with an analogue speedometer and digital display showing fuel level, odometer, and trip information.
As of July 2025, Royal Enfield is not offering any official discounts or special promotional schemes on the Hunter 350. However, buyers are advised to check with local dealerships as finance options, festive offers, or exchange bonuses may be available at the retail level.
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 competes in the sub-400 cc neo-retro roadster segment. Key rivals include the Honda CB350RS and the Jawa 42 Bobber FJ.
